Halstead 219 for 7
Shoreham 171 all out

After inserting Halstead, Shoreham got of to a good start Jamie Bromfield (1 for 35 off 7) taking an early wicket. This gave way to a 92 second wicket partnership by Matt Hughes (62) and Nel (35) .Both being dismissed by the old warhorse Ray Trick .Phil Dent (66) then took a liking to ray’s bowling and dispatched him to all parts of the boundary with him ending on 2 for 54 off 9 .J. D. bowling well from one picked up his first league wicket of the season finishing with 1 for 41 James Trick with a late flurry picked up 3 wickets finishing with 3 for 28 from his 9 overs.

Shoreham got off to the worst possible start losing Monteith (2) to an LBW appeal. Stanyard (41) making a rare appearance set about the Halstead attack before being caught behind. Styles (30) failed to make his ground after being called for a quick single by Wells(6). James fell for 3. It was left to Mark McDonald (39) and J.D. (20) to try to maintain the rate and push us to the total. With the fall of these 2 wickets the tail was exposed and 8,9and 10 fell for the combined total of 9 runs giving Halstead victory by 48 runs.
